Getting started

Functional medicine is a personalized, systems-oriented approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease rather than just treating symptoms. Unlike traditional medicine's one-size-fits-all approach, we consider your unique genetics, environment, lifestyle, and health history to create individualized treatment plans that restore optimal function.
We treat a wide range of chronic conditions including autoimmune disorders, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, chronic fatigue, anxiety and depression, metabolic disorders, food sensitivities, chronic pain, sleep disorders, and skin conditions — particularly where conventional medicine manages symptoms without addressing underlying causes.
Your experience varies depending on your chosen service. Generally, your provider will review your health goals, discuss treatment options, and begin your personalized care plan. You don't need to bring anything specific unless your provider instructs you beforehand.
Lab testing is often helpful but not always required before your first visit. During your initial consultation, we'll review your health history and symptoms to determine which tests make the most sense. We may recommend panels covering nutrient levels, hormones, food sensitivities, or gut health based on your individual needs.
Results vary based on your health situation and how long you've been experiencing symptoms. Some patients notice improvements in energy and digestion within a few weeks. More complex chronic conditions may take 3-6 months or longer. We monitor your progress closely and adjust your treatment plan as needed.

Appointments & scheduling

Walk-ins are welcome, but booking in advance is recommended to guarantee provider availability.
Yes. Telehealth appointments are available for select services.
We require 24-hour notice to cancel with no fee. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged the full price of the missed service, or $100 for Botox or pellets. Late cancellations leave a gap in the schedule that could have been filled by another patient, so we appreciate your understanding.
It depends on the service. Some treatments are available immediately; others require advance scheduling. Contact us to check current availability.

Preparing for your visit

Fast for 12 hours before your appointment — water and black coffee are fine. If you take thyroid medication or biotin, stop them 24 hours before your draw. Female patients should ideally schedule between days 14-21 of their cycle.
Arrive with freshly washed hair on the day of your appointment.
Arrive with your face washed and free of makeup before your appointment.

Testing & treatment

Yes. We offer comprehensive genetic testing to understand how your genes affect nutrient metabolism, detoxification, and disease risk. We also provide advanced microbiome testing to assess gut health, bacterial balance, and digestive function, helping us build more personalized treatment protocols based on your biology.
Recommendations are highly individual. Depending on your test results and goals, we may suggest anti-inflammatory or elimination diets, nutrient-dense whole food approaches, stress reduction, sleep optimization, exercise modifications, or toxin reduction strategies.

We focus on identifying root causes through comprehensive testing, personalized nutrition plans, targeted supplementation, lifestyle modifications, and stress management. We look at gut health, nutrient deficiencies, toxin exposure, hormonal imbalances, and inflammation to build a holistic treatment plan.
